This piece started as a Grundgestalt (as I call my algorithmic compositions), and then... it evolved, I like to think. I used the raw material as a canvas and started reshaping the painting. Then I did the orchestration, which was based on bass clarinet, marimba, and orchestral percussion.

And then. Well, a song started calling me. It was Frank Zappa's "Filthy Habits", from the bootleg album "The Eyes Of Osaka".

I simply could not resist. I took the first few seconds from that Song, and I mixed it in at the end of my piece. Yeah, exactly, I made a xenochrony with it. No idea of how it would go, in terms of tempo and harmony. I just did it.
And, somehow, it made sense. At least, to me XD.

Then I asked a dear friend and fellow Zappian for an opinion: was mine a crazy idea, or did it result in a proper Project/Object?

My dear friend came to my rescue and assured me that the present work was by no means outrageous; and urged me to publish it.

So here it is for you, my "Filthy" Furaguma No. 2!

The picture is my reworking of a picture of the Statue of the Sun -- the symbol and mascot of the Japan World Exposition, Osaka, 1970 (日本万国博覧会, Nihon Bankoku Hakuran-kai), also known as "Expo 70". Also in this case I enforced a... xenochrony of sorts XD.
